Offered for auction is the LSD issue of the French magazine, Le Crapouillat, from 1966. Originally published in the aftermath of World War One, aimed primarily at soldiers. Known as a muckraking mag, they published monthly for decades. By the 1960s, however, they were publishing on a quarterly basis. This issue is cover to cover LSD. Great articles about or even by, some real luminaries. Timothy Leary is interviewed and Albert Hoffmann writes an article on how he discovered LSD, all in this issue. What really makes the magazine even more appealing is the photography. Page after page of great work.Both accompanying photos for articles and full-on photo essays. Marvelous from cover to cover. Lots to pore over and enjoy. LSD from a French perspective. This issue of Le Crapouillat has 68 pages plus covers and they each measure 9 5/8" X 12 1/2", approximately.the magazine is in Near Mint Minus condition, with light handling. Comes with a small front cover sticker indicating as a French-language bookstore in Rockefeller Center, in New York City. Really amazing shape, having been shipped from France in 1966.
