AUCTION - Zig Zag Man - Stanley Mouse Signed - 1960s Silkscreen Poster - Excellent

What a cool thing this is! Up for auction is an early (circa 1967) Stanley Mouse silkscreen. This obscure Mouse original features the Zig Zag Man smoking, surrounded by pot leaves for added effect. Hand-screened by Stanley Mouse himself, with likely only a few hundred at most ever produced. These posters were more than likely made for sale at Mouse's shop in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood of San Francisco. Additionally, Stanley Mouse has hand-signed the silkscreen in dramatic fashion across the bottom of the image, complete with a really great trademark running mouse. Truly impressive. Printed on tan stock, the piece measures 16 5/8" x 22 7/8". In Excellent condition, with light handling, two pieces of tape on the reverse, and very light toning from having been framed. An iconic early, hand-silkscreened piece by one of the all-time great poster artists.
