AUCTION - Vulcan Gas - Jimmy Vaughan - 1969 Handbill - Near Mint Minus

On offer is a concert handbill from the legendary Austin, Texas club, the Vulcan Gas Company. The show dates were February 28 and March 1, 1969. The headliner for both shows was a Dallas band called Texas. They used to be a garage band called the Chessmen. They had a singer by the name of Jimmy Vaughan, who you may recognize as the frontman for the Fabulous Thunderbirds and the brother of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Fantastic black and white artwork is by Jim Franklin, who is as Texas as it gets. This concert handbill measures 7" X 11 1/2". As a bonus, Jim Franklin has hand-signed the handbill in black pen, dated 1988. In Near Mint Minus condition, with a tiny bottom corner tip push. Super clean.
