Here's a cool Halloween handbill from 1969. The legendary Vancouver, Canada venue, The Retinal Circus, put on a show which had the Velvet Underground and the Blacksnake Blues Band performing. Actually, a four-day stint beginning on Halloween. Impressive artwork is by Frank Lewis. Sort of three stages of womanhood theme. Done in black on orange paper, this Velvet Underground handbill measures 5" x 7". The condition is Near Mint Minus, with only the slightest discoloration at the bottom right corner tip. Visually intriguing handbill for you Velvet Underground collectors.
