Here's your chance to own a highly sought-after quartet of posters from the Fillmore Auditorium in SF, CA. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers played a legendary 20-night run at the Fillmore in early 1997. Calling themselves the "house band" from the get-go, Tom Petty held court at the Fillmore, with the likes of Roger McGuinn, Lucinda Williams, John Lee Hooker, Carl Perkins, and others helping out by invitation from Tom and the band. What live music is all about, really. Night after night, comfortably settled in and delivered every night in an intimate and historic setting. The Fillmore is famous in no small part due to the legacy of poster art. This set of four new Fillmore series posters are by the wonderful Santa Cruz artist, Jim Phillips, who has done so much remarkable work, we couldn't begin to do it justice here. These four masterpieces have lots of great symbolism and just plain look beautiful. Especially together! The four posters represent NF-251, NF-253, NF-254, and NF-255 in the new Fillmore series, with NF-252 being already booked in before the run started (the band had to vacate the building for one day). Each poster measures approximately 13" x 19". This set of four Tom Petty Fillmore posters is in Near Mint Minus condition, with some handling along the edges and some writing in ballpoint pen on the reverse of two of the posters. Gorgeous set of timeless Fillmore posters and certainly one of Tom Petty's greatest endeavors. Highly desirable poster set indeed. Carpe Diem.
