AUCTION - The Seeds - 1967 Poster - LA Cheetah - Excellent

This exceedingly rare concert poster is from the renowned venue, Cheetah, in Los Angeles, California. Here we have the Seeds playing three shows on August 20, 1967. The opening acts, the West Coast Branch and the Boston Tea Party played all week in anticipation of the Seeds' arrival. Cool psychedelic artwork is by Penelope Brokenshire. The cheetah design appeared in other club artwork as well. Notably, the Doors played there several times. This trippy poster measures 17 1/2" x 22 1/2", approximately. The condition of the piece is Excellent, with some handling and a light stain at the upper right edge. Never put up. Super rare poster and the only one we have ever seen!
