Here's a rare poster with an unusual double bill. Here we have the Moody Blues with Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble opening up the show, which took place at the LA forum on December 3, 1983. Jerry Weintraub, along with Concerts West promoted the evening, while Colby Poster Printing Company did the union print work. Great uncredited artwork for a cardboard poster. The piece really grabs the eye instantly from a distance, but also has found room for some artistic expression as well. Great UFO tractor beam/light effect without diminishing or obscuring the show info. This is early Stevie Ray Vaughan, who was just gaining fame. And fast. This cardboard poster measures 14" x 22", approximately. This 1984 Moody Blues/Stevie Ray Vaughan concert poster is in very good condition, with staple holes and pulls, handling and corner bends. This piece was put on a wall and subsequently taken down, with the associated wear. We are excited to offer this piece for auction for the first time.
