AUCTION - San Francisco Sound - It's A Beautiful Day - 1967 Poster - Seattle - Excellent

Here we have a very cool, quite scarce poster from the Pacific Northwest. The concert was held in the Seattle Ballroom in Seattle, WA. The show was billed as "The San Francisco Sound" and featured It's A Beautiful Day", along with Indian Puddin & Pipe and Stash Box. Psychedelic artwork is by Wallace Studios and has a rather unique feel to it. This concert poster is featured in the book Split Fountain Hieroglyphics (a wonderful guide to 1960 Seattle area psychedelic concert posters) on Page 67, Plate 086. The poster measures 13 11/16" x 11 3/4". This piece is in Excellent condition, with tack holes in each corner, some corner bends, a bend along the bottom, five tape stains on the reverse, and minor handling. The colors remain very strong.
