Here's one you've probably never seen before. We certainly haven't. We're not exactly sure about the actual goings-on here, but the place was called Automobile Graveyard and they were announcing their Grand Opening in July 1967. Located on Frederick and Stanyan Streets, a block or so off the end of Haight Street. Psychedelic artwork is by Rile Sayon, who also seemed a bit in the dark about some of the details for this poster, as he simply wrote in "Name to Come" where the featured attraction would have been. Open from Tuesday to Sunday, the place even had a number for reservations. All very intriguing. A bit of a mystery in black on goldenrod paper and an incredibly rare poster.

The piece measures 11" X 17" and is in amazing Near Mint Minus condition, with only a little handling and a small red stain near the bottom center. Truly unusual and exceptionally rare.
