This Victor Moscoso poster up for auction is from his Neon Rose Series. This is Neon Rose #23. The poster is a promotional piece, commissioned by Capitol Records for their upcoming Steve Miller Band album release. Exquisite work by Moscoso as always. You really have to concentrate to figure out the lettering on this one! Great use of multiple images for the band members, not to mention the angel's wings. Dayglo to the max, this poster came out in 1968 and was printed on glossy, coated poster stock. Visually stunning and rather large, this Neon Rose poster measures 22" x 28", approximately. The condition of the piece is Very Good, with waviness from moisture and surface wear. Never put up. The Neon Rose series is known worldwide and these posters are in museums across the globe as well. This is one of the more difficult Neon Rose pieces to come by.
