AUCTION - Led Zeppelin Joe Walsh - Randy Tuten Signed - 1975 Poster - Oakland Stadium - Excellent

Here is a poster for the Led Zeppelin concerts as part of the ‘Day on the Green summer series presented by Bill Graham, scheduled for August 23 and 24, 1975, at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in Oakland, California. Designed and signed by Randy Tuten, the poster features a large group image of Led Zeppelin behind central text listing the supporting acts as Joe Walsh and Pretty Things. In excellent condition with light handling bends in the top margin and small bends in the corners, it measures 17 1/4" x 22.5". Booked as 'Day on the Green' shows Nos. 4 and 5, the concerts were ultimately canceled when Robert Plant suffered serious injuries in a car crash in Rhodes, Greece, on August 5th. This significantly affected the production of Led Zeppelin's seventh album Presence for a few months while he recovered, and forced the band to cancel the remaining tour dates for the year.
