AUCTION - Iggy Pop - Frank Kozik Signed - 1990 Poster - Hollywood Palladium - Near Mint Minus
AUCTION - Iggy Pop - Frank Kozik Signed - 1990 Poster - Hollywood Palladium - Near Mint Minus
Here we have an awesome concert poster for the amazing Iggy Pop. He's performing at the Hollywood Palladium on December 9th, 1990, with the up-and-coming band Alice in Chains as the opening act. The artwork is by the late Frank Kozik, who unfortunately passed away last year. He used a stunning photo of a shirtless Iggy and portrayed him in green against an orange background, creating a very striking effect. Kozik titled the piece "Safe Rock and Roll Sucks," located along the lower left edge. This all adds up to a fantastically strong piece in classic Kozik style. The Iggy Pop concert poster from the Hollywood Palladium measures 11 1/2" x 17 1/2". It's in Near Mint Minus condition, with only light corner wear. As a bonus, Frank Kozik hand-signed the poster in blue ballpoint pen at the bottom right. A marvelous piece indeed.
