AUCTION - Grateful Dead - Levon Helm - Lewiston Maine - 1980 Poster - Excellent

This original Grateful Dead poster is from the Maine Music Festival, which was held on Saturday, September 6, 1980, at the Lewiston Fairgrounds in, of course, Lewiston, Maine. This poster features the band photo from the Grateful Dead album, “Go To Heaven“. The opening acts were extremely cool: Roy Buchanan and the Cate Bros. with Levon Helm. What a great day in Maine! This now more than 40-year-old poster is quite rare and it’s only the second one we’ve ever had. The piece measures 16 3/8“ x 22 1/2“ and is in excellent condition.  Having been printed on light, thin stock, there is handling, mainly along the edges. No tack holes no tape. Never put up. A truly rare poster from the Grateful Dead’s only stop ever in Lewiston, Maine.
