This sought-after poster (Second Print) up for auction is the iconic Grateful Dead at New York City's Radio City Music Hall poster by artist Dennis Larkins, with assistance from long-time Bill Graham confidant and Lieutenant Peter Barsotti. The poster commemorates the legendary ten-day, eight-show run in October 1980. The poster features a similar design to its companion piece, the Grateful Dead at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco, only a week prior to the New York shows. The San Francisco poster is pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 345, plate 4.45. Measuring 21 1/4" x 27 3/8", this unauthorized reprint poster is in near mint condition, having never been put up and showing only the slightest bit of handling.
