AUCTION - FD-31 - Daily Flash - Mouse & Kelley Signed - Avalon Ballroom - 1966 Poster - Near Mint Minus

Here is an impressive 1966 poster for Country Joe & the Fish and the Daily Flash, showcased at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco. The poster was designed by Stanley Mouse and the late Alton Kelley. This is the original first printing, which unfortunately features incorrect concert dates. The poster was later reprinted with the accurate dates. In Eric King's Guide to Psychedelic Posters, it is referred to as FD-31-OP-1. The poster is printed on thick vellum stock and measures approximately 20” x 14". Both Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley have signed the poster. It’s rare to find signed Alton Kelley posters these days. The condition of the poster is near mint minus with a bit of edge crimping on the lower left border and a small, soft bend in the lower right corner.
