AUCTION - The Byrds - 1967 Handbill - Rocky's Mag Fresno - Near Mint Minus

This unusual 1967 handbill is from Fresno, CA. A local venue called Rocky's Mag promoted The Byrds at another local venue, Wonderland, on April 22, 1967. Local openers included the 5 O'Clock News Hour and Children. Uncredited artwork in black on textured gray paper features four very hair prominent band faces to go with all the psychedelic curlicues. Rocky Mag reckoned correctly that they could sell more tickets than they could accommodate and so made arrangements with Wonderland to hold the concert there. A cool piece from an unusual venue from Fresno, this handbill measures approximately 8 1/2" x 11", approximately. The piece is in Near Mint Minus condition, with only curling from having been rolled.
