AUCTION - Artist Rights Today - Jerry Garcia - Griffin, Wilson, Kelley - Mouse & Moscoso SIGNED - 1989 Poster - Near Mint Minus

Up for auction is a stunning limited edition poster for a benefit concert held on March 22, 1989, to support Artists Rights Today (ART), a legal defense fund dedicated to helping artists retain, regain, and maintain their publishing rights. The concert was headlined by Jerry Garcia, featuring performances from notable artists such as Country Joe, Barry Melton, John Cippollina, Peter Albin, Spencer Dryden, and members of The Dinosaurs, along with Nick Gravenites and others. Local comedian Bob Sarlatte served as the MC for the event.

This special poster has been beautifully hand-signed by the "Big Five" poster artists, including Rick Griffin. Stanley Mouse, Alton Kelley, Victor Moscoso, and Wes Wilson. It is a limited edition print, numbered B18 out of 200 and is in near mint minus  condition with a water stain on the back top margin. Additionally, Alton Kelley signed the reverse of the poster addressed to his wife, Marguerite, and it originates from Kelley's collection.
