AUCTION - AOR 4.173 - Shiva's Headband - Jim Franklin - 1971 Poster - Near Mint

This remarkable poster was created by Jim Franklin to promote a show held at Fort Hood in Killeen, TX. Designed in a comic strip style, the poster depicts a group of soldiers transforming into armadillos. Shiva's Head Band, South,  Storm, Greasy Wheels and Rockin' Horse were the performers.

Like many posters from the Austin area, this one was printed in limited quantities, and only a few have survived to this day.

The original poster was printed on blue paper and measures approximately 11" x 15⅞" and is in near mint condition.
