We are pleased to offer this original concert poster for the Grateful Dead, featuring an opening performance by Spirit of Creation on April 12, 1969, in Salt Lake City, Utah. This iconic piece, designed by Richard Taylor, is documented in the Art of Rock book on page 382 (plate 4.156) and measures approximately 14 1/2" x 25 1/4". A notable detail of this specific copy is that it retains remnants of the original sticker used to keep the poster rolled after the show, with fragments of the band names still visible on the back. In very good condition, with some handling and staining on the reverse side, it remains a rare and significant Grateful Dead poster.
