AUCTION - AOR- 3.121 - Muddy Waters - 1968 Handbill - Vulcan Gas - Near Mint Minus

Offered here is a true classic handbill from the Vulcan Gas series. This is Blues legend Muddy Waters performing in August 1968. The opening band was Johnny Winter. Pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 293, plate 3.121. It's August in Austin Texas, so you know it was hot. Notice across the top it says "Come Bathe in Cool Muddy Waters", which can work both ways. There is a poster for this, but without the colors and not nearly as fantastic looking as the handbill. This handbill measures 8 5/8" x 10 1/4". The piece is in Near Mint Minus condition, with an edge tear a third of the way down from the upper left. The right corner tip bends at the bottom. Beautiful.
