Very cool original concert poster from the Ark, which was located in Sausalito, CA., across the Golden Gate Bridge. This poster features Big Brother and the Holding Company with Janis Joplin, Moby Grape and Baltimore Steam Packet. The date was November 4th, 1967. The standard version of this poster is pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 224, plate 2.310. This rare variant/alternate version has almost completely different colors, and maybe looks better. This is the only one of these we have seen. The poster measures 16” X 22”. In excellent condition with light corner issues in all four corners, has tape pulls on reverse. Also on the reverse is the rubber stamped word “Satyr”, which appears on many other Ark posters. A must-have for your Ark collection.
