We are thrilled to offer this highly sought-after poster for the Grateful Dead, known as the Berry Dropper or Acid Dropper. Designed by artist Steve Catron for a concert in 1968 at the Carousel Ballroom—later renamed the Fillmore West—this poster is featured in *The Art of Rock* as plate AOR-2.163. The event also included performances by Chuck Berry and Curly Cook's Hurdy Gurdy Band.
For the record, we note that a CGC-graded and certified copy in 6.5 condition recently sold at auction for $15,000! This poster measures 22 12/8" x 16". It is in very good condition, with tack holes, tape pulls (in the back in the corners), handling, toning, and some writing on the back. Expect some spirited bidding for this item!
