Here is an original concert poster from the Carousel Ballroom, created for a benefit supporting poster artist Alton Kelley. The event took place on May 8, 1968, featuring performances by Jefferson Airplane, The Charlatans, Steve Miller, and Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks. Designed by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley. Mouse & Kelley have personally hand-signed this poster in pencil directly under the "Mouse Studios" credit to the bottom right. This is a rare uncut version, complete with four handbills still attached along the right side. The poster is featured in "The Art of Rock" book on page 182, plate 2.173. It measures 22 1/2" x 28 1/2". Condition - Excellent - Has light handling and edge wear on all four sides. Rare and super cool.
