Here we have up for auction a lovely promotional poster for the album “Rolling Thunder“, a side project of Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart. He assembled an astonishing array of collaborators: Stephen stills, John Cipollina, Grace slick, Paul Kantner, and even the Tower of Power horns. Sublime artwork is by Alton Kelley. He reprises and enlarges the album cover art. Phenomenal technique. As a bonus, this promotional poster has been hand-signed by Alton Kelley in silver pen on the front and in pencil on the reverse to his wife, Marguerite. Printed on glossy stock, the poster measures 26“ X 36“ and is in Near Mint Minus condition, with light handling due to its size and it has been machine folded as issued.
