This is likely one of the most popular Avalon Ballroom posters. It was designed by Stanley Mouse & Alton Kelley for a 1966 concert at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco. The show featured Big Brother & the Holding Company and Howlin’ Wolf. Sadly, the show was cancelled and the posters never distributed, making this a very desirable image. The offered copy is not only the original 1st printing with the Bindweed Press credits but It has been signed by both Mouse & Kelley. The poster measures about 20” x 14 1/8”. The poster is in near mint condition with only 2 soft corner tips. This is a very unique copy of a very popular poster!
