AUCTION - Albert King - 1968 Poster - Boston Tea Party - Excellent

This original concert poster up for auction is from the famous Boston, Mass. venue, the Boston Tea Party. Here we have Blues great Albert King with Jeremy Steig and the Satyrs opening the show for three nights from August 29–31, 1968. Artist, Bob Driscoll, who did quite a lot of the Boston Tea Party posters, opted for a spare, lean look for this piece, save for the fascinating line drawing at the center that really draws you in. It is worth noting that this is the original Berkley Street address for the club as well. This Albert King Boston Tea Party poster measures 11 1/4" x 19 17 1/2". The piece is in Excellent condition, with corner bends and 3/4 and light handling. Presents very well. Sharp and bright.
