Here is a very unique & desirable Summer of Love Family Dog poster. It is referred to as Angel and it was created by Stanley Mouse & the late Alton Kelley for a 1967 show at the legendary Avalon Ballroom, featuring the Steve Miller Blues Band & Mother Earth with Tracey Nelson. This is the original 1st printing. Due to its popularity, it was reprinted two more times. It is referred to as FD-78-OP-1 in Eric King’s Guide to Psychedelic Posters. It measures about 20" x 14". The poster is in rough condition with handling, bends, a tack hole, staple holes in 2 corners, tape residue and 2 tears (3/4 & 1/4"), there is also a small chunk of paper missing in the lower margin, writing and tape pulls and residue on the reverse (see picture) . It has been signed by Stanley Mouse in silver sharpie in his typical running mouse style. Check out that signature. It’s a work of art!
