Beautiful, original concert poster from the Family Dog series. This is FD 65 designed by Rick Griffin. The bands were Big Brother & the Holding Co. with Janis Joplin, and, from Los Angeles, Canned Heat. These concerts were held at the Avalon Ballroom on June 8-11,1967, right in the middle of the Summer of Love. This is the white border which is the true 1st print (not the yellow border) and is a scarce original to track down. This poster measures 14 1/16" X 20". In near mint minus Condition. Never put up. No tape or pinholes. Has light edge wear,light stain in the upper left corner tip and some toning on reverse. A fantastic example!
