We are pleased to offer the first handbill in the Family Dog series. It was used to advertise the first Family Dog Show held at the Fillmore on February 19, 1966, less than a month after the Trips Festival. The image was designed by Chet Helms, founder & promoter of the Avalon Ballroom, along with artist, Wes Wilson. Note that this show was held at the Fillmore Auditorium. The Jefferson Airplane and Big Brother & the Holding Company provided the entertainment. This is the white version, known as FD-1- OHB - A. It's CGC Graded 9.8. It doesn’t get much better than this folks!
