AUCTION - Electric Circus - Tomi Ungerer Poster - New York City 1969 - Condition - Near Mint Minus

Another cool advertising poster for the Electric Circus, a hip nightclub located on the legendary St. Mark’s Place in New York City’s East Village. The venue opened its doors in 1967 and closed in 1971. The club embodied the wild and creative side of the NYC club scene. The poster was designed by international artist, Tomi Ungerer. It is actually part of 6 posters that he created it promote the club. The poster measures about 28” x 22”. The condition is in near mint minus condition with just the slightest of handling, given its large size. Cool piece of NYC ephemera!
