Original concert poster from California Hall in San Francisco featuring the bands Big Brother and the Holding Company with Janis Joplin, Big Mama Thornton, and The Weeds. The concert dates are April 28-29, 1967, coinciding with the beginning of the Summer of Love. The psychedelic design was created by M. Wood of Ryxis Studios. This poster is featured in the book "The Art of Rock" on page 176, plate 2.152. It measures 18 1/8" x 21 1/4". Condition: Near Mint Minus, with a slight bend in the lower left corner. Overall, it is in superb condition.
