AUCTION - Death of the Hippie - Original 1967 Handbill - San Francisco - Mint

Here is a very cool and historic handbill known as the Death of the Hippie. The event took place in October 1967, at the close of the Summer of Love, in Buena Vista Park, San Francisco. The event was intended to mark the commercialization of the hippie movement in the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco. The handbill measures about 5 1/4" x 4 1/4". It is printed on card stock. The condition is mint almost 54 years on!
