Most of the concerts took place in Eagles Auditorium in Seattle, WA. Starting in June 1968, With Iron Butterfly, the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Blue Cheer, Steppenwolf, Moby Grape, with Pink Floyd finally played in early August. Each of these bands was a headliner. That leaves the Doors, who by 1968 were big enough to play the Seattle Center Arena on July 12. Psychedelic artwork is by Michael Condon. Bill Graham called the show a \" Rock\/Blues Bash\" and this was his first foray with Bill Grant Presents outside San Francisco. Only a handful of shows had promotional buttons made in the early days of BGP. Later, in the 80s, they made a bit of a comeback.
