AUCTION - AOR-2.195 - The Doors 1967 Handbill - SF Whisky-A-Go-Go - Excellent
Fantastic, early Doors concert handbill. Here they are at a very short-lived club in San Francisco called the Whisky-A-Go-Go. The date was February 1967. The handbill is black and brown and the poster is black and white. Pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 189, plate 2.195. The artist was Donna Herrick who did 3 out of the 4 Love Conspiracy Commune posters. She's never been properly credited for this great art. This handbill measures 5 1/2' X 8 1/2". In excellent condition with a fold across the middle, a light handling bend in the top left corner, and light handling.
