AUCTION - BG146 - Moody Blues Chicago Transit Authority 1968 Original Griffin/Kelley Poster - Fillmore West - Condition - Mint

Here is a very cool collaboration between two late, great artists, Rick Griffin & Alton Kelley. The poster was created for a 1968 concert at the Fillmore West. This was an interesting time in the careers of both bands. The Moody Blues were touring after the release of their In Search of the Lost Chord LP, white CTA had yet to release their classic eponymously named double LP. This original 1st & only printing is known as BG-146-OP-1 in Eric King’s Guide to Psychedelic Poster Art. The poster measures about 21 7/8” x 14” and remains in flawless condition 52 years later. A real collection copy!
