AUCTION - AOR 4.38 - Grateful Dead Blue Rose - Double SIGNED Mouse & Kelley Poster - Near Mint Minus

One of the all-time great images associated with the Grateful Dead. This is the iconic Blue Rose designed by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley. This was New Years Eve Dec 31, 1978 and the last show held at Winterland. The opening acts included the Blues Brothers (direct from Saturday Night Live) and New Riders of the Purple Sage. As noted near the bottom, Breakfast Served at Dawn. The poster is prominently displayed in the Art of Rock as plate 4.38. This poster is an uncut version with extra wide white borders and color scale on right side. It measures about 23 1/8” x 39” and is in near mint minus condition with handling and a couple of corner bends. Stanley Mouse has signed this poster twice, once  at the  bottom right in silver sharpie and also in the middle in black ink!. Real nice. The Blue Rose is to the Grateful Dead as is the Skeleton & Roses!
